Getting started
Do I need an upfront investment?
Not for inventory. You can start on the Free plan with no monthly fee; you pay catalog cost on each successful sale plus the platform commission for your plan.
How long until my store is online?
A few minutes: create your account, choose a subdomain, activate catalog products, and connect Stripe for card payments.
Do I need a registered business?
CartFlux is a technical platform; for legal and tax obligations in your country we recommend speaking with an accountant.
Flow and profit
Do I have to buy products before I sell them?
No. You pick products from the platform catalog (integrated suppliers), list them at your retail price, and promote your store — no own stock.
What happens when a customer pays?
Stripe processes the payment. CartFlux automatically withholds supplier cost, your plan catalog markup, and the commission %. Only your margin lands in your Stripe Connect account.
Can I lose money if my price is too low?
Yes, if your margin does not cover withheld amounts. Checkout is blocked if profit would be negative — increase your retail price.
Pricing and fees
What are the costs per plan?
Free: €0/month, catalog cost +€1 vs supplier, 5% commission. Pro: €19/month, +€0.50, 3%. Business: €49/month, supplier price, 1%. Each sale applies catalog cost + commission.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Monthly subscription (if not on Free), catalog cost per sale, commission %, and standard Stripe fees are the operational costs we communicate.
Why do I see different catalog prices per plan?
The platform applies different markups vs supplier price: Free +€1, Pro +€0.50, Business direct price — reflecting service level.
Store and invoicing
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on the Business plan. Configure CNAME at your registrar; your store stays available on subdomain.cartflux.eu too.
How do I invoice end customers?
In Settings you can connect SmartBill and issue an invoice per order to your buyer.
Does CartFlux send me a monthly invoice?
Yes — for products sold that month, noting amounts were already withheld on Stripe checkout, for transparent accounting without double payment.
